Dress Shopping for Mommies

My daughters love shopping for dresses, not that the selection these days is all that great. Problem is, with four daughters, you can be sure that at least one of them is going to pick out at least one empire style dress. I hate those. But how do you tell a twelve year old that no, she can't have that because it makes her look pregnant? Hmm? So, I don't say it, I just gently tell them to find something else. At which point, there is no other dress in the world, and I am an ogre. WHY couldn't I have had boys....?
